History
Emilio Berttinotti fue docente de botánica y traductor de artículos científicos y de "La Cautiva" al italiano. Fue, junto con Gaetano Gallino, responsable de la introducción de la litografía en Uruguay. Se convirtió en uno de los principales litógrafos y retratistas de Uruguay y de Argentina.
